Clipy is an AI-powered platform that helps streamers automatically capture, caption, and share highlights from their live streams. The Clipy Chrome Extension connects directly with your Clipy dashboard to enhance your content workflow.

Through our Chrome Extension and online dashboard, users can generate clips in real time, analyze performance data, and distribute content across multiple platforms.

Clipy is continually evolving. We regularly add new features, integrate with third-party platforms, and improve our AI systems to make content creation faster, smarter, and more accessible. By using Clipy, you acknowledge that the Service may change over time as new updates and improvements are released.

3. Your Account

To use Clipy, you must be at least 4 and a half years old, or older if required by the laws of your country or region. If you are under the minimum age, you may only use Clipy under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If you are using Clipy on behalf of a company, team, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf. All references to “you” in these Terms apply to both individual users and organizations.

By using the Service, you retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate using Clipy (including video clips, captions, and analytics data). However, by using the Service, you grant Clipy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Clipy does not claim ownership of your original content, and we do not sell or share your clips with third parties without your explicit consent.

8. Rewards System

Clipy may offer a rewards system that allows streamers to incentivize their viewers for sharing clips and promoting content. Participation in this program is optional and may require linking social media accounts or providing payment details for reward distribution.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the rewards program at any time, without prior notice. Clipy is not responsible for external platform changes that affect how rewards or engagement metrics are tracked.

Abuse of the rewards system, including fraudulent engagement or manipulation of metrics, may result in disqualification and termination of your account.

9. Third-Party Services

Clipy integrates with various third-party platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and other social media or analytics tools. These integrations are provided for your convenience and to enhance your workflow.

However, Clipy is not responsible for the availability, reliability, or data practices of third-party services. Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policies. By connecting these platforms to Clipy, you authorize us to access and use your data as permitted by those services.

If any third-party service becomes unavailable or discontinues its integration, Clipy may modify or remove related features without notice.

10. Termination

You may stop using Clipy at any time by uninstalling the extension or deleting your account.

Clipy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if required by law.

If your account is terminated, any content or data associated with it may be deleted or archived according to our data retention policy. Certain obligations, such as ownership, indemnification, and limitation of liability, will continue even after termination.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Clipy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind — express or implied. While we strive to maintain high reliability and uptime, we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities.

We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated clips, captions, or recommendations. You acknowledge that you use Clipy at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for verifying all outputs before sharing or publishing them.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clipy, its affiliates, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, or damage to reputation.

In all cases, Clipy’s total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with legal requirements. When updates occur, we will post the new Terms on our website and update the “Last Updated” date above.
